when driving at speed the car feels as though the rear end is twitching and starting to snake

Are the rear tyres okay,treads ,pressures,next would be suspension check.

Hi, tyre pressures have been checked, new tyres had the four point tracking system checked at bathwick the suspension is fine just passed its mot??

Try switching rear wheels to front and see what happens , eliminates wheels / tyres doing that .

I have exactly the same problem on my Octavia Scout - did you find a solution to yours? I have eliminated tyres as the cause, am now assuming it is an alignment problem front or back!?
