Skoda Octavia turbo charger cleaning

Car: Skoda Octavia
Variant: 2.0 diesel manual estate 2005
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
having trouble with turbo shutting down (going into limp mode at about 3000/3500 revs). to reset I turn off ignition and restart, then works fine again. Soto try and cure I have purchased an "AB DIESEL TURBO CLEANER KIT". However I don't mind attempting using the kit by following the instructions, which are limited, but I need to know whereabouts the TURBO is located and if it's sensible for an amateur to do this without cocking it up.
Any advice would be most welcome

Those who use the Diesel Turbo Cleaner have to have sufficient know how of the working of vehicle engines and turbo charged systems in order to reduce the chance of possible faults and consequential damage. If you do not have sufficient knowledge please do not attempt this treatment and ask a garage or mechanic to do it for you.

Would be wise to heed this advice especially as you admit you dont even know where the turbo is on car .

Would agree with the good advice you have already been given and it,s most likley a faulty turbo, but further check,s on boost pressure would be required prior to condemning it and check all your small hoses are intact from your boost pressure regulator.
