Went to open boot using keyless and would not open so used key fob and opened, then went to open driver's door and same problem except nothing would open it so after using unlock button on key fob tried again and nothing then tried rear doors and they opened tried passenger door and still locked!! used emergency key to open door and after getting in tried to start car and nothing except lights on needles for speedometer, rev counter, fuel gauge and temp gauge Flashing on and off, alarm light still flashing too so breakdown called checked battery and ok then took off black lead to battery for a few mins to see if reset no good so car on way to Skoda dealer!

According to mechanic it all showed 'healthy ' but he didn't specify voltage! reading other people's forums on another website there seem to be a lot of problems with KESSY?

May well be , but I really dont know how he can tell battery is " healthy " without testing voltage . Just a simple 2min check which is the first thing to eliminate or not by carrying out a LOAD test

Garage phoned today to say they have found water over electrics? and are investigating cost for that £600!!!

I would be chasing them up on the cause of the water penetration and a more specific location of where the water was located and causing the faults . Dependant on reply . I would pursue them for repairing the vehicle under warranty , even though it has expired . I've seen a lot of problems with water ingress on other forums

Visited Skoda Dealer today and having a good chat with technicians it seems there was a job done on car regarding a water leak possibly 2 and half years plus ago? (We had car Oct 2022 it was registered July 2018 with 2 previous owners) possible new windscreen? and water has seeped in somewhere and with driving rain on around wed 2nd November it went over fuses inside and water tracked to modulator they notice some corrosion too, they are now trying to find the water entry, defiantly rainwater!
Water leaks in car leave high condensation but there has not been any, so a bit of a mystery to date!

Seems like previous repair may have been under warranty if they have it on record or may have been the screen . Whatever , not a good job in fixing whoever carried out the work . Thank you for updating the forum
