Skoda Felicia spins over fine but will not fire.

Car: Skoda Felicia
Variant: 1.3mpi petrol
Model Year: 1999
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Conked out on M62, had boiled the battery. RAC towed me to home, and couldn't fix problem. Replace with new battery, send ecu to ecu doctor, came back (£261) .Fitted new alternator.
Still no Brm Brm. Auto electrician examined it, said ecu suspect. Sent it back to ecu Doctor, came back with note, "only fault code read:17978 engine control unit blocked by immobiliser. Note coms line same as immobiliser" Passed all this to Auto electrician, he's too busy to attend. (No engine light appears on dash.)

You need to find yourself a better auto electrician who wont fob you off after his diagnosing of ECU seems to be wrong .

What is Brm Brm ?
