When the engine is started, the rear wiper wipes a few times then stops.

Take it the switch is in the off position ? or possibly a worn / faulty switch . Another possible cause that can happen is the wiring at top of tailgate ( usually in rubber sleeve ) can get damaged and touch , activating the wiper .

Hello. Did you find a solution? I have a Skoda Fabia 2013 tdi. The rear wiper does a single swipe after the engine starts.
