Skoda Citigo engine emissions light on.

Car: Skoda Citigo
Variant: SE L Green Tech
Model Year: 2017
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The emissions light came on March 2022 the car went to the dealership for checks, they checked and found nothing. Said the dipstick wasn't in tight !? Car was fine.
The emissions light has now been back on twice more. There are now 2 sensors on. I've not done many miles, mostly short trips, it's a citigo, a car meant for short distances! Miles now approx 14,000 max not exactly a lot for its age

A low mileage and little used car , short journeys , can often cause problems. Others with similar problems take the car for a fast trip down the motorway , getting it up to working temp . and blasting the cobwebs from engine which SOMETIMES cures the faults . But all depends on what sensors are showing and whether you would feel up to taking it out for a fast drive . If not you wil need to get it checked / scanned for fault codes and see what has triggered the lights .
