Seat Mii noise when accelerating

Car: Seat Mii
Variant: 1.0 Petrol - Manual unit
Model Year: 2015
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
When taking off in 1st and accelerating in 2nd & 3rd there is a peculiar noise briefly for the last few day's - a light tinny noise is what I would describe it as. The car drives fine in 4th and 5th. The engine oil level is fine. I put it up on axle stand's - ran the engine with the car in situ and accelerated in 1st & 2nd with no noise. Drive it on the road as normal and the noise is there. Should I check the Gear Box Oil level and if yes where is the plug to check it?

One of the CV Joint rubber sleeves is a little greasy while the other one is quite dry - but no apparent leak.

Unusual noises and I always check all the exhaust heat shielding for condition/tightness of fasteners and distortion.

1/4 Drive
Thank you for that and you are correct. I expect a branch of some kind was driven over since the recent storm and pulled on the Heat Shield - the Heat Shield was free of it's front retainer on the Driver's side and was vibrating off of it when accelerated. I removed the retaining clip and put a wider bracket across the hole then pressed the clip back on. I took photo's of the problem and fix but do not see an option to load them - they are available if anyone want's them.
Thank's again.
