Definitely something wrong with the geometry on the front of your car, something is miles out,Have you had the tracking checked,is the trier wear on the out side or inside,or different on both sides, the car is not lined up properly,Suspension or linkages (steering ) ?Have you taken the car to any were other than the dealer to check,You can pay the AA to check your car over if something is wrong you have it in black and white to take back to the dealer, good luck, hope you get more advice after me

As " anthont hunt " suggests , front geometry has got to be well out . Front wishbone bushes are very common cause of tyre wear on this car .
p.s , found this which confirms knacked bushes ,

Posts: 321 Don't forget that the rear bushes on the front wishbones of the 130TD1 sport and FR TDi are crap.

They have voids in them and allow the wishbone to move around.

This causes TOE OUT to be added during thottle and TOE IN to be added during braking.

With the torque of the diesel - the car is allways going TOE OUT when you boot it and killing the tyres.

Get the bushes at the back of the front wishbones changes for the solid rubber ones from the CUPRA TDi.

Between the bushes and the 4 wheel tracking I now see much less wear on the tyres.

Under braking the front wheels will be pushed backwards, pivoting on the front bush, causing them to toe out.
Under acceleration, the front wheels will try and pull forwards, pivoting on the front bushes, causing them to toe in.

Thats what I thought at first but - NO - not correct.

under braking the WISHBONE OUTER PIVOT ( Not the wheels ) are the items being pushed back on the ibiza. This happens because of the void bushes at the back of the front wishbone.

When this happens the lower outer pivot on the WISHBONE moves back and in towards the steering rack. This effectively reduces the track width vs the steering rack and pushes the front wheels to TOE IN.

Under throttle the opposide happens - The wishbone outer lower pivot moved forward and out - effectively increasing the track compared to the steering rack and causing the front wheels to TOE OUT.

I had this checked and measured by a friend who sets up race cars and works very hard to remove suspension induced geometry changes.

Where did you get the bushes done and how much did it cost?

The bushes are genuine Seat Ibiza Cupra ones. They are ( or were ) about £10 per side. Fitting them is the hassle.

Hope this helps to solve your problem .

Hi thought you might like to know the bushes on the Ibiza's have now been modified they are better but still not as good as the cupra or the diesel so I would suggest you as to have the diesel bushes fitted as they only cost a fraction more but will probably last the life of your car

i own a seat ibzia 1.9 SDI have had a clunking when i stop the car and a banging when driving it, i checked it over today, i soon found the cause a knackered rear front wishbone bush, i am hoping to do the job myself i have no manual so looking at it i assume i need to pop the bottom ball joint out, undo the large 19 or 17mm bolt from the rear bush and the same at the front bush, i hope then that the whole wish bone should drop down with a bit of careful leverage!
I then presume i heat the whole surround of the bush up then using an old three quarter drive socket tap the old bush out, is it easy enough to press the new bushes in with a decent bench vice?also i only have propane gas torch would this get it hot enough? assuming there is no major problems how long should it take to change the bush? the problem being i only have one day to do it in and from my past mechanicing days i have allowed a good few ours for minor problems ie prising the bottom ball joint out of its recess, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
