Seat Ibiza back window wiper and water sprayer seem to be stuck on

My back wiper and wash sprayer seem to be stuck on and won't turn off unless the ignition is off. Can I take out a fuse to stop it. Do I need a new column switch

Sounds like faulty switch but could also be wiring fault . According to this fuse # 56 covers the rear wiper
