Seat Ibiza rear veiw mirror keeps falling off

Car: Seat Ibiza
Variant: 1.2 tdr
Model Year: 2012
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
rear view mirror fell off and the dealer fixed by replacing the mirror. Fell off again and fixed again. Some 2 months later fell off again. Dealer explained that they will not fix it again as I must be responsible for the problem. 3 Weeks later fell off again(£100-to fix) and they refuse to fix it unless I pay. I argued that there must be underlying fault as I have not touched mirror. Told that Seat had been contacted and no one else has a problem therefore they will not fix it. Any one having similar problems? If so how did you resolve it?

Ask them what the £100 cost involves and what are they going to do different from other times to ensure it doesn't fall off again .You could try the likes of Autoglass who replace w/screens daily and refit the mirrors if you dont want to go back to dealers .

I am having a similar problem - my Seat Ibiza ST (new in March) rearview mirror has just fallen off for the 2nd time, for no apparent reason. The service centre fixed it the first time, and I am now waiting for them to call me about it.
