Seat Ibiza juddering engine after driving and alternator problems

Car: Seat Ibiza
Variant: 1.4 SE Petrol
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi guys, this is my last resort before going back to the garage really.
My car does drive fine, but if I have been driving for over 20mins and then stop, the car starts juddering, it feels like a misfire.
I took it to the garage, he told me that my pencil coils were on the way out so he had to replace those. He also replaced the spark plugs. This did nothing at all!! :-(

Also, with my problem child, the battery dies when it feels like it. I didnt drive my car for like 5 days and it started fine, but leave it 5 hours while I was at work, and kaput, no battery power.

Is there any chance these are linked?
If anyone knows any solutions I'd kinda like a billy basic step by step, I'm not really a petrol guru, but I hate parting with money at the garage. Cheers guys :-)

Sounds like 2 separate issues ,something is staying on causing a battery drain ,you can check the basics yourself by ensuring no courtesy lights are sticking on,glove box, boot etc.The garage should fix the misfire as they originally diagnosed it and you have paid for this repair .
