Seat Arona 'mix' option not working properly when playing from usb stick

Model Year: 2021
Playing MP3 files from a USB stick. When I select the 'Mix' option so that it plays the tracks in a random order all that happens is it just repeats the same track over and over. If I deselect the 'Mix' option it plays the tracks in alphabetical order, i.e. how they are stored on the USB stick. Have asked a Seat dealership if a software update would fix but they said no.

If dealership say there are no software update solutions or cant supply an answer , not much I can suggest .
