Intermittent problem whilst driving loss of power for a couple of seconds can and does happen on all speeds. It might not happen every day, but it has become more regular lately. It could be a dangerous problem when overtaking with cars behind.

When I press on the accelator during that period it will not rev.

what size engine do you have fitted and is it petrol or diesel?any warning lights on dash?

My rover 75 classic se 2003 1.8 manual petrol is
having the same problems as per case 1029.
The car is @ 55k has had recon.cylinder head,new belts,water pump and recent service 6k too next.
Was running a treat,now engine management light
on continuously and occasionally flashes? HELP!
