thanks to mr suzuki for the last reply i have had more problems again called out the RAC really helpful but co7uld not get it going he said that the injectors are not switching on and the fuel pump comes on when the ignition is turned on but doesnt stay on when turning the car over???? he pluged it in and no problem showed up but he said it could be the crank shaft sensor can this couse this problem also he said if its not that possibly the ecu is failing in this area please can any one confirm this before i spend a fortune.

fuel pump will only run for 3 secs on start up just to get pressure up the press reg in fuel rail turns it on and off as reqd.1st check the injectors have power with iggy on then the ecu earths them to turn them on .while cranking put screwdriver on injector ear on other end is click noise herd.

3 needs crank signal to let ecu no engines turning.a good home tune man can plug in and tell u if its working
to fault find a complex fault you just follow step b step ecu last port of call but a jump start can damage ecu

HAD A AUTO ELEC TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE CAR MONEY MONEY MONEY ANYWAY HE HAS FOUND A KEY FAULT SO THE GARAGE PHONE AND SAID DO I HAVE ANOTHER KEY WITCH I DONT SO WAT CAN I DO KNOW THEY SAID THEY WILL TRY AND GET CODES BUT FAILING THAT ITS GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE PROB A MAIN DEALER CAN A KEY FAULT COUSE THE PROBLEMS I AM HAVING AS THE RAC SEEM TO THINK ITS THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR NIGHTMARE ANYONE HELP AS THE £ ARE ROLLING UP COMMING TO THE POINT OF WORTH MORE THAN THE CAR?
