Check new alternator is charging o.k with a meter check . If so get battery tested , if dud cells , wont hold a charge .If both ok. check for parasitic drain on electrics

Not the first time a new part was faulty or possibly wiring / connection .It's a simple test to check if it is working o.k , two min job .If not charging , battery will just drain . Whoever fitted alternator should have checked output was o.k i.e charging .

Just to add ,maybe has blown a fuse due to previous fault, but as suggested tech.should have checked charge rate prior to you getting the vehicle.

was it ok before new alternator was fitted if so disconnect alternator insulate alternator leads connect battery and lock car leave overnight re-connect alternator and see if all is ok if it is then there will be a fault with new alternator faulty diode will cause battery drain
