Rover 45 starting from cold

i'm having problems starting the car when cold once started it runs ok the glow plug lights only stop on for 4-5 seconds could it be the relay or do i need to fit new glow plugs gwilym

sounds like glowplugs knackered.remove and replace with new ones

I am having the same problem.
Basically on first start in the morning its a moo to start.
Had 3 of 4 glo plugs changed, new air, oil and fuel filter. still not better.
Once warm its ok but as soon as its been stood for a few hours, same problem.
New injector pipes fitted also.
Have noticed that one of braided pipes at front is slightly damp again tho.

any ideas
