Rover 25 alarm not working

can't open car with key fob or keys
iknow you can overide this but the book i require is locked in the car
any solutions please

firstly its sounds like you have dead locks on the car with you saying that the key wont open the car have you tried gaining access through the boot using the keys failing that the other thing would be try replacing the batteries in the remote as if these are running low then that would be another reason for you not being able to get in to your car
