car has done 18500,serviced in nov 09(about 2500 miles ago!! has started misfiring going up hills or when it is underloaded.Now it has started doing it at speed.Checked the plugs,seem fine and changed the fuel filter literally yesterday,problem still persists.Can anyone please help. Thanks,Ian

common problem with these cars was ht leads causing juddering/misfire under load

where the harness plugs in to the multi plug . normaly the side away from inlet manifold. take air filter top part off then . should be able to see plastic covered loom very close to metal coolant pipe. lift it up wards and look underneath. should be obvious if that is fault. worked on this stuff 4 to many years.

probably the wrong place to post this but would like to thank 2145 Simon and Whittingehame for the rover 25 advice- changed the ht leads today-end of problem!! Many thanks Lads.
