Rover 200 cold start

my rover 200 1.4si has cold start problem, keeps turning over trying to fire up but wont when it does start it runs a tiny bit lumpy, i have changed plugs, leads, distributor cap

Try changing the engine coolant temp sensor .

Any fault codes logged,suggest that be your first check:)

The ECT sensor lets the ECU know you need more fuel on cold starting .Just like operating the choke on older cars ,cheap and easy to replace .I would try that first before getting too involved and spending cash , not needed .
