Yellow spanner and engine managment light are on along with Check injector and Check emissions message, diagnostics said oil deteriorated, had new oil and filter lights came back on after 5 miles, then next day the red stop light came on after a little pulling on acceleration, van runs fine pulls a bit when accelerating, also makes a bit of a hissing noise ( pressurized steam sort of sound ) from underneath around engine sort of direction.

You need to scan it with a PROPER Renault diagnostic code reader and retrieve codes . Hissing noise could be a partially plugged cat or exhaust , or cooling system over pressurising to name a few possible causes

Thanks for your response mate, when you say plugged cat? Is that a blocked DPF? Have been told that it might just need a good run in 4/5 gear on a motorway. I have also been told that could be a split hose down by the exhaust underneath?

Cat and DPF are different . A belt down the motorway can clear some faults and a split hose / pipe can cause problems also

So guys. Had the DpF cleaned and it sorted the issue….. for a short while, the spanner light has come on again with the Check injector message again after 4 days of it being fine. Any ideas what this could be? The bloke that cleaned it said there was 80g of soot on the DPF and once cleaned was 0g. Really need some help with this one as I’m losing work left right and centre.
