Renault Scenic inertia switch

Car: Renault Scenic
Variant: 1.9 dci

Hi can anyone tell me where the inertia switch is on a scenic 1.9 dci? cheers.

i think its under the bonnet near the coolant expansion bottle (normally red or black rubber button on top)

If you are still having problems check this ,

renault Megane Scenic 2001 1.9DCi non start

" had this problem with the exact same car the three small relays (black) on the nearside inner wing caused the fault the car would crank but wouldnt fire up . there was a poor connection to the middle relay . "

and

" sorted it out now, it was a high resistance wire from pin B4d of the diesel ecu to the engine control relay terminal. This is the switched earth wire that the ecu controls. It should be 12v with igniton off but when ign switched on it switches to earth connecting relay output terminals.

I followed the brown coloured wire in the loom and found a green/corroded section in the wire, cut it out and re-soldered a new piece of wire in and now all runs fine and immobiliser codes are erased and remain clear. "

cheers for that found it ok but thats not the problem but at least i can tick it off my check list thanks again.

still having problems just going through everything one by one got power going to the glo plugs now but still nothing i will try your latest suggestion cheers!
