Renault Scenic leak to boot and rear lights

I sometimes find water in the Spare Wheel well. It appears to be coming in at rear bumper level on the l/h side. I also have some condensation in the rear lamps. I have drilled 2 / 3 small holes in the Spare Wheel well but I would prefer a more permanent solution. Currently the Car is parked for long periods of time.

Check rear lamps for leaking water .
