Renault Scenic parking brake fault

Car: Renault Scenic
Variant: Grand Scenic
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Car went for MOT, got it back with "Parking Brake Fault" showing on Dash.
Told I need new Caliper and wanted £300 to fix.
I could not accept this as no fault before MOT and car regularly serviced with new Brake pads fitted by other garage with no indication of this fault.
Anyway New Caliper & Pads fitted and all working well, but need to Reset Dash Warning for MOT.
Have been advised Autel Maxiservice EBS301 will clear this warning on Dash, but rather expensive way to go.
Has anyone sorted this problem with such a Tool or other cheaper option.
Willing to pay anyone within reason who may have such a Tool for a Fix.

You would have thought the garage that repaired the car would have the gear to clear codes .Usually quite a few in the free car magazine you get in the petrol stations .Here's one in Cambuslang you could give a call to .
