Could be the UCH .
The UCH (Unite Centrale Habitacle) is an electronic control module that is fitted to many late model Renaults (early 2000's onwards.) It is responsible for controlling many of the non-engine related functions of the car, such as central locking, electric windows, and even some of the lights (e.g. indicators.)
Some people suggests disconnecting battery for a few minutes cures some faults , but cant advise one way or another . If you do , remember you will probably need to recode radio .This is a post from Renault forum on this ,
Re: Renault Modus UCH Relay box

I had this problem with my 54 reg Modus. I found a thread on this site from Holly who had the same problem and solved it by dis-connecting the battery for a couple of minutes. I tried this on my and it worked - indicators and central locking both now OK and cost nothing!
