Renault Modus breaking fault ? goes on/off as it wants - any help please

Variant: 1.4 16vi
Model Year: 2004

breaking fault on dash / abs light,hand-break light,stop and service lights all come on the dash but goes back off when it feels like, done fluid checks but problem still persists .... any help or advice would be great as my mum uses car and she worries about everything .... thanks again......Simon

The only way you will find out is to get a diagnostic scan carried out and see what fault codes are shown .

Renault are know for electrical problems ,if you have a multi meter you need to check the earths using the continuity ,brake switches are known to cause problems,earth on back lights = same ,fuses /relays can suffer wet/damp check the electrical connections with these ,check the conction plug on the brake master cylinder .
I use a dremel type tool to clean up small conctions on my modus then spray them with a silicon spray I bought from tool station ,
One problem modus suffer from is the bulkhead drains either side of the bulkhead they are fitted with flaps cut the flaps off because its them that cause the problems like water on the inside floor ,it also overflows onto the fuse /relay box !
