Hi, I would like some help, My car has been stood around for a week over the Christmas period, I went to start it up the other day and i got a message saying low battery, Ive charged the battery, but then on starting the car up again it still said low battery, is there any way that I could jump start the car with jump leads or by being towed. any help will be great. Thank You

Your post is a bit confusing .Is it still not starting after charging the battery ? Is it not turning over the engine ?If so you may have a dud battery which no amount of charging will fix .You may need to get battery load tested to confirm . If it's just the battery it should start with a jump .

Have you had any of the electrics changed? There could be a drain on your battery. Sometimes this can be fixed by taking out then reinserting the fuse of where you've had work done, and then get the work checked.
If you haven't had any work done then check that the battery is being charged. One way to get an idea is to leave your lights/radio on for a bit. you should be able to have both on for about 40 minutes before the car says low battery. Earlier and it is likely to be the battery.
