Car: Renault Laguna
Variant: 1.9 diesal

Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
my car recently cut out whilst travelling about 60 miles per hour. I had just come off the motor way having been at an average speed of 70 for an hour. Car just lost power and cut out. caqr started again straight away and has driven ok since. The fault diagnosis said fuel heating circuit what is this ???? and what do I need to do to fix it.

I can't say that I solved the problem. I had a similar problem about 18 months ago and again on Boxing day. I seemed to have solved it 18 months ago by putting in STP Fuel System or Injector cleaner on a full tank of Shell V power. I only used V power for about a year, then stopped and the problem has come back. Have put in another bottle of STP cleaner and now will only fill up with V Power.
FYI, I got the Fuel Injection fault light on the dash. Hope this helps. It's scary when the engine just dies on you at speed. I will be selling mine v. shortly.
