Renault Laguna can't unlock car

Car: Renault Laguna
Variant: 1.8 RT SPORT
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Have two keys - both unable to unlock car. Measured battery voltage for both keys. All just shy of 3volts (2.96 /2.92v). Light beside handbrake flashing ok.
Have also held down button on key for several seconds - no response from car.

Any help would be appreciated. Thx

They may need reprogramming to the car, as the codes can change - especially if the keys have been pressed when not in range of the car or if the battery has been disconnected for a longer period of time

Squirted wd40 into keylock in driver door. Rocking car key side to side inside lock, barrel now turns 360 degrees, even without too much force.
Central locking worked for a while, then stopped all of a sudden. Tried yesterday and now works... puzzling I know. Would the solenoid in the driver door side be the culprit ?
