i phoned renault dealer for ballast resistor and will cost £60 so will wait till after xmas to get done. will this stop the excess condensation on windscreen or is it another problem

your ballest resister is i presume for you heater, this only regulates the fan speed, if your heater blows hot with no problems then the condensation is likely to be caused by water ingress into the car or the heater matrix leaking into the car, check over the interior and check for wet and damp.

Hello please forgive if I dont do this right as Im new to this, but find the site very helpfull.
The condensation thing happened to my Laguna (55plate)last night for the first time. I am hoping it was a dream and its fixed itself overnight, but reading this I think not. Is this a problem I can fix myself with a little help or is it a garage job. I will check for damp inside the car this morning as mentioned in other post.
Thks.
