Renault Laguna clutch and hydraulic cylinder

Car: Renault Laguna
Variant: 2L dci
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
no warning clutch dropped to floor no return.
was told it was the hydraulic clutch cylinder.
have also been told the clutch will need replacing. is this correct? as there seemed nothing wrong with the clutch. there was no juddering difficulty of gear changing or any warning of wear. please could anyone help me to confirm the clutch need replacing as well as the cylinder as I don't want to be ripped off. thanks mark...

That sounds correct .Usually the concentric clutch slave cyl that fails .Can get complete clutch kit which covers all parts needed .

thanx for reply wondered if you could help further as having trouble tracking down full clutch and concentric slave cylinder. you say I should be able to buy the whole kit needed. but unable to find.
although found seperates but surely more costly than combined.
