Renault Laguna "lights on" warning buzzer not working!

Car: Renault Laguna
Variant: 2.2 TDI Auto` Estate (Sport touring)
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I have a Renault Laguna 2.2 TDI Estate,(Sport Touring) Reg` No` - SV03XBB.(Right Hand Drive) The "Lights on" Warning buzzer isn`t working.(This has already caused a "Flat battery", But it`s OK now) The door switch,(which is incorporated in the door catch/handle)is working fine,`cause the interior lights come on/go off, when you open/close the door. The hand-books which came with the car don`t cover this fault, neither does the "haynes workshop manual"(which I purchased at £15.99) Can you tell me where the said Buzzer is located (I`ve removed some small side panels, from the dash`,but can`t see it)so,If I can,Pass current through it,to test it? Also, Where the Fuse or Relay is, that covers this circuit?(As again, this isn`t covered in my current manuals!)Or am I compleatly off track ? Or do I have to take it to a Renault center(Who charge £60.00 just to plug in their Diagnostic kit)? Thanks in advance Len Warren.

a normal place to locate the warning buzzer is behind the dash binical (speedo)the fuse / relay is again normaly within the lighting cuircit and again should be behind the binical; look at the ciurcit dig: for the lights and check that it is an independent unit failing that its the main dealer sorry good luck
