not sure where the egr is situated on the laguna but try looking up the part on line then matching it to your engine as regards to cleaning it i have just stripped and cleaned the one of my vectra ok i got a tin of carb cleaner and a tooth brush etc and all is a ok a messy job though

Oh this would be so easy if I could just point,ah well.
It's held in to the inlet manifold with three torx screws, about 50mm X120mm casing with a multiplug into the end.
remove the 3 fasteners then kind of twist/turn and pull all at the same time.
and when it's off make sure the little disc is still on the end of the spindle, they have a habit of unfastening and falling into the manifold.
Hope that helps.
