Bailey12,
I had a similar problem on my 2001 Kangoo 1.9DTi RXE - twice!
First time it turned out to be the power steering relay that was jammed and flattened the battery. You can tell if this is the case as you will hear the pump running when the engine is switched off. The relay is a Cartier 60A red relay under the bonnet near the battery. You have to remove a grey/black plastic cover to get to the relays. There are two of these red relays, amongston other relays and fuses, and I think it is the bottom red relay on my car - not sure how many your model will have. I removed the relay and then removed the cover of the relay and cleaned the contacts, reassembled and refitted and it has been OK since.
Second time it was another relay, again a red 60A relay. This time there were no symptoms, and all systems seemed to work fine with the relay removed - even first thing in the morning when there was snow on the ground, so I don't think it was glow plugs. I couldn't find out what the relay did, but whenever it was fitted the battery would drain over a period of a couple of days. I couldn't get hold of a direct replacement, but a local specialist had a lilac Cartier 50A relay from a laguna with an identical pinout. I fitted it and the problem of the battery draining went away.
However, I now have another problem - the 15A fuse under the bonnet blows when trying to start the engine.
Problems, problems, problems...
Good luck
