Renault Espace lack of power
Variant: V6 3 LITRE TD

Starts and runs OK at low RPM. Seems to be stuck in limp mode [will only rev to just over 2,000r.p.m.]. No faults showing on code reader. All injector pulses, , EGR, turbo, fuel pressure check out OK.
Occasionally bursts into full life for a few seconds then goes back to 2000rpm.
Any ideas?

Hmm.
I'd like to see a graph of the fuel pressure over time,
Just checking it at idle speed or even high rpm Wouldn't be clear.
And I'm wondering about fuel flow rates,
bad tank pumps/restricted lines/filters.
Codes are only generated IF there are systems outside operating parameters.
They can still be faulty,
just not faulty enough.
Check the fuel flow from the tank to the H/P pump.
In the past I've run diesels from a gallon tank and lines in the passenger footwell.
Eliminates pump filter and line faults,
or not.
And graph the fuel and turbo pressures under load.
And if you can run the H/P pump at max but you do need special equipment to do this.
