Renault Clio car not turing on and all electrical stuff not working

Car: Renault Clio
Variant: auto
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi, I went to start my car this morning but when I turned the ignition on nothing at all happens, it doesnt even make any sound. I notice all the light go on like normal but then the brake circuit incident warning light and the power assisted steering warning light both stay on. Could it be a dead battery or a lose wire somewhere? it is a fairly brand new battery though. thanks for the help

Sounds like flat battery . Either charge or try a jump start .May have to get alternator tested .

Just noticed it's an auto . Check that the brake lights are working ( ignition on )just in case there is a fault with switch which could affect auto box .Also on some models when the gear stick jammed you could remove the gear stick cowling and press the button underneath to release . Hope this helps .
