Renault Clio central locking key not working

The automatic key was working yesterday but now wont lock or unlock the car. I have to lock the car by the manual lock on the door. How do I rectify this?

Checked key battery/s ?

The battery seems to ok as when pressing key the light is still flashing on it. I have tried putting it in the ingnition turning it once so that dashboard lights up and pressing key as someone told me this resets the key fob but that didn't work either.
