Renault Clio everything!!

I bought my automatic clio in october last year. In the first day it had to go back to the garage for a completley new gear box. Then in jan the engine management light came on and i was told it had a problem with the turbo cylinder?? needeed cleaning out. Now sometimes when i go to start the car it wont fire up. sometimes it works first time and sometimes it takes a few times. The only ging that i have noticed that is different is that when i open the door there is normally a high pitch whinning noise which slowly drowns out now that doesnt happen at all?? i know absoloutley nothing about cars and am in fear of being ripped off!!!
