you need to measure the cylinder compressions when the engine is cold ideally, they should be between 150 and 200 psi,if they are all the same then they are ok,have you checked the other things mentioned in your previous posts, are you getting fuel and spark?

if all of the compressions were ok then it can`t be mechanical problem,if you have spark, fuel and good compression it must be something like a sensor with intermittent fault, have you had the diagnostic tester hooked up and checking all the live data outputs when misfire present?

the coolant leaking into the cylinder is whats causing the misfire then, you say you had head skimmed, was it checked for cracks and leak tested?if the gasket looks knackered then it might be worth putting new gasket on and see if that sorts problem, depends if you have the time and money to do it

" if the gasket looks knackered then it might be worth putting new gasket on " No way in the world would any decent mechanic not replace gasket after removing head !!! There was nothing wrong with the cyl . compression readings . Are you sure the clean piston was not caused by unburnt fuel in cyl as it was not firing , thereby washing / cleaning bore , piston etc ? This is usual cause of this happening .
