Renault Clio boot opening on own

Car: Renault Clio
Variant: 1.2 TCE
Model Year: 2008
My boot has developed a life of its own. When I unlock the whole car (ie double click) the boot pops open not just unlocks, then when you shut it it is locked again. It has also popped open whilst I am driving along. The garage had it in and said it was a problem with a connection and they had fixed it. It was fine for 2 days but yesterday popped open again 3 times during a 10 minute journey. Is this a common problem? Has anyone else had this happen?

Best to get car back to garage for another look at lock . There used to be two different types on Clio at one time . One was a motor set up and the other was a solenoid . One part was about £40 and the other £70 Could be something simple again or may need part replaced .
