Renault Clio sunroof not closing
Variant: 1.4 Dynamique
Model Year: 2005
Hello, I've had a problem with my sunroof it will close but when it should drop down to seal completely it just stops!! there is like a 1 inch gap where it cannot close. I've checked the seals and area around it to see if there is any obstruction and there is no problem there! the motor on the sunroof sounds fine and works ok enough to get it across but like i said it wont drop down aaahh!! if you can help would be most grateful!

prob the guide springs have gone week.if roof closes with the help of a hand pushing whilst turning handle or if electric motor running,then a bit of a job ahead.you have to remove headlining and unbolt sunroof complete.once on floor the springs can be replaced ,they pull the whole roof closed and are dificult to replace.if wont shut with a push then ignore this completly.
