Renault Clio electrical fault?

Car: Renault Clio
Variant: 1.2 petrol manual Dynamique
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Leaks & Noises
The car starts ok but runs rough (miss fire), The radio that was on switches off and the Stop, Serv and management lights come on. The power steering light also comes on, The speedo needle drops. If I try to pull away the car sputters and there is an actual power steering fault with heavy steering. The whole fault is intermittent and will clear for a few seconds before comming on again. I am aware of a whole load of issues with the electricss but non seem to involve the power steering issue, any one have any ideas?
Thanks

Almost sure that year of Clio has an electric hydraulic power steering pump (EHPS) that is why the electric fault affects your steering .Could check the alternator is charging o.k

Thanks for the response,The diagnostic is showing the voltage as between 15 and 16 volts and aslo shows an intermittent fault on the +12V, it looks like it could be the alternator and the miss fire a seperate issue and probably a coil

Alternator is overcharging at that output and will "cook " battery and damage electrics .
