Renault Captur automatic wing mirrors not opening when car is unlocked

I unlocked the car this afternoon to go out but the automatic wing mirrors did not open. The indicator lights blinked to indicate the car was unlocked but the mirrors did not open out as usual. The car unlocked and everything was functioning as it should.
