Check battery earth cable and also earth from engine / gearbox to body .

the thing is now, i have changed the egr valve, the air mass meter, the coolant temp sensor, and the crank pos sensor. i am about to do a compression test, but when i took out no1& 2 glow plug the y were sooty the others were ok. i am suspecting either top engine fault like oil seals, or an injector issue. i will have to have them tested to be sure. the timing was out after the clutch went, so i put that right hoping that was the problem but it was not. the reason for the poor rpm and power is confusing, maybe two injectors have gone in which case that may answwer why i have poor power. would anyone agree with my diagnosis.
