If I start the engine and sit for 30sec -1min a engine warning is displayed and a diagnostic shows a fan fault and the engine is in limp mode. If I start the engine and drive off immediately no fault occurs until I go below 5 mph and then the same message and limp mode.

Check and see if the engine coolant fan is cutting in

Using PP/Lexia ,getting a fault for low speed fan. High speed works ok. Stripped out the relay unit from the radiator and the resistor legs have corroded. I tried resoldering the legs but no good , it could be corroded internally too. Got one from ebay £13, fitted and fault cleared immediately. Be careful of which one you order ,they are not all the same despite the vendors saying they are for multiple part numbers. At first I couldn`t get the main power plug to reattach, when I compared it to the original relay pack I found that the socket has guide rails for plug alignment and they were opposite handed on the new pack. Took a chance and trimmed them off and refitted to the rad ok. You have to undo the bottom plastic splash tray attached to the front valance and reach up to access the front of the radiator. It folds down from the mini deflector trim.
