Peugeot Partner engine judder low revs

Car: Peugeot Partner
Variant: 2.0 hdi
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi
Hoping someone can help? I have a problem with my Partner van, at low rev's between 1500-1750 rpm in 4th & 5th gear in particular, the van judders badly & I have to change down to 4th gear & accelerate again & change up into 5th gear to drive through the problem! It's worse now winters here, it's now more prominent.
I have replaced the mass airflow meter for another, genuine siemens part 5wk9 621, but the problem still exists.

Thanks in anticipation.

Would first check for any codes if fuel flow related then change fuel filter, depending on your servicing of the vehicle .

My van is due a service in approx 1300 miles.
If it were air in the fuel system, wouldn't it be doing it all the time? and not just between the 1500-1750rpm, on a light throttle?
I suppose the diagnostic route is the only way, to try determine the fault?
Thanks for your help!

I was more suggesting a blockage in the filter ,if it,s not been changed ,just get it quite a lot just now ,That was just something to try as a quick fix.
