Peugeot Partner windscreen washer pump runs, but no water

Car: Peugeot Partner
Variant: 1.4 petrol
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When I try to wash the windscreen, I can hear the pump run, but no water comes out. I pulled the pipe off the jets, but still no water comes out the pipe. Yes, there is liquid in the tank.
The pump noise tells me it's down near the tank, ( I could be wrong), but this is under a steel plate (part of the chassis).
How do I get to the pump ?
Thanks for all help.

On some you models you have to remove the o/s wheel liner as the bottle's just behind the bumper. Usually get clogged up with gunge / soap etc . Some pumps also have a filter which blocks up .

Thanks whittingehame,
It's too dark to go and look now, but that sounds like it could be my situation. Is it necessary to remove the wheel ? Sound like my task for next weekend.
Thanks again.

Yes , you need to remove wheel . Better get it fixed before winter sets in and you need washers more.

sometimes even though you can hear the motor working the propeller fins on the motor that push the water through break off stopping the flow but you wont know without changing the unit
