Peugeot 806 glow plug light comes on

hi i have a problem with my 806 dt 1.9.
when i change gear the engine management light and glow plug light come on for a second then go off, the car hessitates aswell only for a few seconds.when the light s come on. thanks richard

it sounds like an electrical fault possibly with a connector or wire somewhere within the loom possibly going open circuit monetarily.With the engine running get someone to watch while you move areas of the loom around the engine bay. Be very careful of moving pulleys though....safety first!
