Well they are "meant" to run hot for fuel economy.
Get it scanned for the meaning of the "message"
Or is this one of those tiptronic auto boxes?

I think you mean "Economy mode active".this warning comes on when battery voltage is low so Bsi starts load shedding and deactivates unimportant equipment to preserve what voltage is present to enable the restarting of the engine. As for the engine being hot it is the nature of an internal combustion engine to get hot.

hi,so is the battery dying

it could be your battery is on way out but could also be alternator.i would however check the battery terminals themselves to make sure they are good.
