Peugeot 406 loss of power

Car: Peugeot 406
Variant: 2.0 hdi 90
Model Year: 2001
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I recently notice that my 406 2.0 hdi has been losing power when going up hills and there is no power when I put my foot down. It seems to be fine when I first get in but after about ten minutes the problem starts. It’s as if the turbo is not kicking in. Any one got any ideas. Cheers daz

My pug dt started to lose power up hills and the engine light came on but i found it to be because it was low on fuel after filling up it was fine Check your fuel filters sometimes the tank gets blocked too, My fan belt snapped yesterday and the aa fixed it for me but then as soon as he finnished the engine light came on and there is a knocking noise comming from somewhere on the engine, 2 fault codes came up > needle lift lost and regulation of advance? Any ideas?
