Peugeot 406 stop engine light blings and engine cut off while driving

while driving 'engine stop' light indicating and engine cut off,, this is happening some times, after some times parked the car and then can get start and drive,,, then 2 or 3 days without any problem it can drive,, pls help me to overcome this problem,,,

check all your fluid levels and also worth getting a scan done to reveal any dtc`s
